Terms of Service.
Last updated October 11, 2026. POINT is operated by Aftershock Network, Inc., a Florida corporation (“POINT”, “we”, “us”). These terms are a contract between you and POINT. If you don’t agree, don’t use POINT.
The short version
- You must be 13 or older to use POINT.
- What you post is yours. You give POINT permission to show it to the people you choose.
- Be a real person. Don’t impersonate anyone, harass anyone, post illegal content, or try to break the service. We can remove content and suspend accounts that do.
- Paid memberships bill monthly to your card, appear as AFTERSHOCK* POINT, and can be canceled any time. You keep what you paid for until the period ends.
- POINT is provided as is. We work hard to keep it up and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.
1. Who can use POINT
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use POINT only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You must give a real date of birth and keep your account information accurate. You may not use POINT if we previously suspended or removed you, or if you are barred from using it under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.
2. Your account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password safe. Tell us right away at support@welcometopoint.com if you think someone else is using it. Your Point (your @username) is yours while your account is active; usernames that impersonate others, infringe trademarks, or are reserved for the service may be reclaimed. Business Spaces may be administered by several people; the owner is responsible for the Space and its billing.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the text, photos, video and other material you post (“your content”). So that POINT can work, you grant Aftershock Network, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, encode, display and distribute your content to the people you have chosen to share it with, and to show it in previews (such as link cards) where you have made it public. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already shared it, where we must keep it to comply with law, or in backups for up to 30 days.
You are responsible for your content. By posting it you confirm you have the rights to it and that it doesn’t violate these terms or the Community Guidelines. We don’t claim ownership of your content and we don’t sell it.
4. Rules
The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. In short: no impersonation, harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, illegal goods, spam, scraping, malware, or attempts to access accounts or systems you aren’t authorized to use. Don’t use POINT to collect people’s information without their consent. Don’t use automated tools against the service without written permission.
POINT has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. Every post, comment, message, Space and business page has a Report button, and you can block any member, which hides you from each other everywhere. We review reports and act on the ones that break these rules, normally within 24 hours, by removing the content and warning, suspending or removing the account responsible. By using POINT you agree to these rules and to the removal of content and accounts that break them.
5. Memberships and billing
- Personal Spaces are free. POINT+ ($5.99/month), Business ($4.99/month) and Business+ ($19.99/month) are paid memberships billed monthly, in US dollars, to the card you save. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
- Each business Space has its own membership. One person can own several.
- Billing is handled through Stripe. We store only a token for your card, never the number. Charges appear on your statement as AFTERSHOCK* POINT.
- Memberships renew automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings; your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial months except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails we retry twice over six days. If it still fails, paid features are paused and the Space is marked as needing a plan. Nothing is deleted.
- Memberships buy features. They never buy verification, reach, better treatment, or an exception to the rules.
6. Verification
The ✓ mark means POINT has confirmed the identity behind an account or business Space. It is granted at our discretion, can be removed if the information it was based on changes, and is never for sale. The + mark means an active POINT+ membership.
7. Business Spaces
A business Space represents a business, organization, creator or group. You may only create one for something you are authorized to represent. Business Spaces must keep accurate contact details, follow consumer protection and advertising law, and are responsible for what their team posts. When POINT advertising launches, advertising spend is separate from any membership fee and subject to its own terms.
8. Copyright and takedowns
We respect intellectual property and expect you to as well. If you believe content on POINT infringes your copyright, send a notice to report@welcometopoint.com with the subject “DMCA”, including the work, the location of the material, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized, and your signature. We may remove the material and may terminate repeat infringers. If you believe a removal was a mistake you may send a counter-notice to the same address.
9. Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or remove accounts and Spaces that break these terms, the law, or create risk for POINT or its members, with or without notice depending on severity. If we terminate without cause a paid membership, we refund the unused part of the current period. Sections that by their nature should survive (content license for already-shared content, disclaimers, limits of liability, disputes) survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
POINT is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aftershock Network, Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t control what members post and aren’t responsible for it, though we may remove it. We don’t promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
11. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aftershock Network, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of POINT. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Aftershock Network, Inc. from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of POINT, or your breach of these terms.
13. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we can’t resolve informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pasco County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court instead. Before filing, write to support@welcometopoint.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect, and the “last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use POINT after that means you accept the new terms.
