Child Safety Standards.
Last updated October 11, 2026. POINT is operated by Aftershock Network, Inc., a Florida corporation (“POINT”, “we”, “us”). POINT has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains what is prohibited, how to report it, and what we do when we find it. It applies to the POINT website and the POINT apps.
What is prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated imagery, and links to it.
- Sexualizing minors in any way, including comments, captions, profiles and messages.
- Grooming: building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually abuse or exploit them, on or off POINT.
- Sextortion: threatening to share intimate images of anyone, or demanding images, money or favors from a minor.
- Trafficking or soliciting minors, and offering, requesting or trading any of the above.
Who can use POINT
You must be at least 13 years old to use POINT, and everyone gives a date of birth when they sign up. Members under 18 may use POINT only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Accounts we find belong to someone under 13 are removed.
How to report
- In the app or on the web: use Report on any post, comment, message, Space, group, event or business page. Every report goes to a person.
- By email: safety@welcometopoint.com. Reports involving a minor are treated as urgent.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first.
- You can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
What we do
- Remove the content and permanently remove the accounts involved. These violations are never handled with a warning.
- Report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline, as US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) requires, and preserve the related records as the law requires.
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations and respond to valid legal requests.
- Block removed users from coming back and take down any copies we find.
Laws we follow
POINT is operated by Aftershock Network, Inc. in Florida, USA, and complies with US federal and state child safety laws, including the reporting obligations of online service providers. These standards are part of our Community Guidelines and Terms.
